National Award of the Department of Science and Technology received on March 8, 2013 Article published in The Hindu on 12th April, 2013 The Department of Science and Technology, Government of India has presented a National Award of Rupees 10,00,000 for Women's Development Through application of Science and Technology in the institutional category for the year 2011, to Dangoria Charitable Trust.
The award was given at a special function in Delhi, by Sri Jaipal Reddy, Minister for Science and Technology. Dr. Bamji received the award on behalf of the Trust.
Dr. Devyani Dangoria and Dr. Mahtab S Bamji have received number of personal awards including the Living legend award of the International Union of Nutrition Sciences for Dr. Bamji
